Terms of Service

Last updated: June 23, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Vantil (“Vantil,” “we,” “us”), a music-collaboration web application operated by Vantil, Inc., a Delaware corporation, available at vantil.app. By using Vantil you agree to these Terms.

1. What Vantil is

Vantil is a shared workspace for songs and albums and the work beyond the audio, and collaborating on them, including referencing files from your connected storage (Google Drive, Dropbox), tracking versions and status, managing collaborators and splits, logging payments, and scheduling. Vantil is a collaboration and organization tool. It is not a music distributor, a payment processor, or a rights/royalty administrator, and it does not deliver your music to streaming platforms.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). You’re responsible for the conduct of collaborators you invite to your projects.

3. Your content and files

  • You retain all rights to your content. Vantil, Inc. claims no ownership of your music, recordings, files, lyrics, compositions, or other creative content (your “Content”). Your Content is and remains yours. Nothing in these Terms, including the feedback license in Section 4A, transfers any ownership of your Content to Vantil.
  • Vantil stores references to files in your own Google Drive or Dropbox, not copies of the files themselves. You are responsible for maintaining your own storage and for the files there. If you delete a file from your storage, the reference in Vantil may no longer function.
  • You grant Vantil the limited permission necessary to access the files you reference and the data you connect, solely to provide the service’s features as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You represent that you have the rights to the Content you upload, reference, and share, and that your use doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Vantil to: violate any law or infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; upload or reference malware or harmful content; attempt to breach security or access data that isn’t yours; abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; or use it to harass others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4A. Intellectual property and feedback

Vantil’s intellectual property. The Vantil application, including its software, source code, design, user interface, “Vantil” name, logos, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Vantil, Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Vantil for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, sublicense, or create derivative works of the Vantil application or any part of it, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.

Feedback about the product. If you provide Vantil, Inc. with any feedback, suggestions, ideas, feature requests, bug reports, or other comments about Vantil or how it works, whether written or verbal, and whether communicated within Vantil or elsewhere (“Feedback”), you grant Vantil, Inc. a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, modify, and incorporate that Feedback into our products and services for any purpose, without any obligation, attribution, or compensation to you. We are free to use Feedback without restriction.

This applies only to product feedback, never to your Content. For the avoidance of doubt, “Feedback” means input about the Vantil product and service. It does not include, and this license does not apply to, your Content (your music, recordings, files, lyrics, compositions, or other creative work), which remains entirely yours as described in Section 3. Comments you make about a song, creative direction you give a collaborator, or other communications that are part of your creative work are your Content, not Feedback, and Vantil claims no ownership or license over them beyond what is necessary to operate the service for you and your collaborators.

5. Collaboration and access

Vantil lets you grant collaborators access to your songs and albums and to control file-level visibility. You are responsible for who you invite and what you choose to share. Access you grant is your responsibility to manage and revoke.

6. Third-party services

Vantil integrates with Google and Dropbox for file storage and sign-in, with Stripe for subscription billing, and with Sentry for error reporting. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and your connection of them authorizes Vantil to access data as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services’ availability or actions.

7. Plans and fees

Vantil offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Current plans and pricing:

PlanPriceActive songs
Free$0/monthUp to 3
Creator$19/monthUp to 20
Operator$49/monthUp to 100
Team$129/monthUp to 300

Pricing is subject to change. We may modify plan pricing, features, or limits at any time. For changes affecting an active paid subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice, and changes will take effect on your next billing cycle.

Billing and renewal. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through our third-party payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically each month at your plan’s then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings > Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for: you keep your paid plan until then, and your account then moves to the free plan. If you switch plans in the middle of a billing period, a prorated charge or credit for the remainder of the period is applied to your billing account. Your songs and records are never deleted when a paid plan ends; the plan-limit rules below describe what happens instead.

Refunds. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@vantil.app and we will look into it.

Plan limits (such as the number of active songs) apply as follows. Reaching your plan’s active-song limit prevents creating additional songs; it does not delete or restrict songs you already have. If you downgrade to a plan with a lower limit and you currently exceed it, the songs with the least recent activity will be archived (made read-only) until you are within your new plan’s limit. Archived songs are never deleted. They are preserved in read-only form and are automatically restored to active status if you upgrade again or otherwise come back within your limit. We will tell you which songs were archived when this happens.

8. Service availability and changes

Vantil is provided on an “as available” basis and is under active development. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VANTIL IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, be secure, or be available at any particular time. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of your files and content (which, by design, live in your own storage).

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VANTIL, INC. WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vantil, Inc. from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or others’ rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using Vantil and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. On account deletion, your owned data is erased as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Vantil shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; we’ll update the “Last updated” date and provide notice of material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
